On September 27, 2023, I was invited to be on my friend's podcast called Pickleball Physio with Sarah Leong-Lopes, PT, DPT. We talked about pickleball and the positive role it can play on body image in women specifically and growth v. fixed mindset.

Pickleball is easy to pick up and does not require a lot of prior skill. It also is an embodying sport -- meaning it does not focus on the physical or appearance aspect of the body, but instead focuses on the function of the body.


The positive effects of pickleball include more mental clarity, stress reduction, better health, and best of all COMMUNITY. If you have not given it a try yet, I can assure it is loads of fun...and may even be a bit addicting ;) Happy pickleball-ing!
